Why Accurate Site Data Changes the Outcome
Most sign problems that show up during installation were actually created weeks earlier, at the measurement stage. A field technician with a tape measure can miss a few inches of building settling, a facade that isn’t quite plumb, or a parapet wall that doesn’t match the architectural drawings, and by the time anyone notices, the cabinet has already been fabricated to the wrong dimensions. For a single storefront sign, that’s an annoying delay. For a two-hundred-location rebrand where every cabinet is built to one spec, it’s a very expensive mistake.
A LiDAR scan or drone flight taken before a project starts becomes the baseline; the same scan taken after installation, or after a hurricane, becomes the comparison, turning a site visit into a report an insurance adjuster, a property manager, or a government agency can act on.
